IELTS Test Centre

The demand in the number of students who want and need to sit the IELTS

exam has been increasing in recent times. To cope with this increase and

avoid students missing out, UWA's Centre for English Language Teaching

(CELT) was approached to become an IELTS test centre.

Dear Students,

CELT agreed to take on the responsibility and our Centre is now an IELTS test centre and continues to offer IELTS exam preparation courses.

CELT would be pleased to assist students in firstly improving their English levels and secondly in preparing them for the IELTS exam.

We recommend students aiming to sit the IELTS test to enrol in one of CELT's General, Academic or Business English courses and take the IELTS elective for two afternoons a week. The number of weeks will depend on the starting level of the students and the IELTS score that they need to achieve. We are happy to help in determining the length of a course.

Our first IELTS exam has already been conducted and the next one is about to be held. In both cases, places were filled quickly. In fact the next three exams dates are full and we expect that the exams will continue to be popular for each session. Currently, the next availablen IELTS test is on 5th September 2009.
